I Heart Gradius !!
Worlds fails me when trying to desribe a mindblowing set like Gradius Ultimate Collection, but here goes;
8 discs of AMAZING,classic, peerless Konami soundtrack goodness running across the entire Gradius series, across platforms (Arcade, Playstation. NES/SNES, PC Engine and quite wonderfully the MSX!!!).
Add to that the scores for both Nemesis Game boy games, Gradius Rebirth (WiiWare title), plus 2 discs of unheard of Gradius related rarities (Solar Assault, Gradius Mobile, The Pc-8801 and X1 versions of the Gradius S'tracks, Nemesis '90 (X68000 !!!!!), bemani entries, etc...
Packaging as standard with these Konami boxsets is a little bare, but this is one case where the music definitely all that matters.
Oh, and this is the second run reprint of this boxset retailing at 50 bucks less than the first print... Hint? get it now while it lasts peoples !!!
