Not at all like Harvest Moon
Hakoniwa Seikatsu: Hitsuji Mura DS Is a farming simulation game where basically you must survive and work on your farm. In order to interact with Villagers you must cook for them. Marriage is also an option.
There are plenty of different animal to raise. From Ducks to Llamas you can have a very varied farm.
Without any experience in the Japanese language I was able to play 3+ years into the game until I ran out of meat and received game over.
Its a fairly simple but addicting game. Harvest Moon lovers might fancy this game.
