Worth the price
This is my first Haruka purchase - like many others, I bought this game namely because it was affordable and I wanted to see what this series was like.

For the price, this game has a lot to offer and you can definitely get your money's worth. Unfortunately, this game is not fully voiced but the voice acting is very well done. The storyline is "so-so," but I enjoyed this game enough.

A little below my expectations
Perhaps I enjoy the other types of otome games better. I didn't quite find it very enjoyable. But I'm sure if you are a Harukanaru fan, you will like it.

Interesting RPG w/dating elements
I'd heard of the Harukanaru series before, but never actually played one. I picked up this entry just for fun and because it was affordable.

There's a nice selection of dateable guys and a few different mini-games. The story itself is only so-so though, and those interested in history will probably enjoy it most.

If you've always been curious about the series, this is a good entry to start with.

Nice intro to Heian Period though...
You begin as a highschool girl being transported into "ancient Japan of a seemingly Heian Period setting" world name Kyou. Summoned by the Ryuushin (Dragon God), you have the mission to save Kyou, existed by 8 guys (also known as Hachiyo).

The game is packed with mini games to increased your stats eg. so you can battle the spirits haunting the various places, at the same time you can also try to improve your relationship with the hachiyos (you may successfully end up with one of them); plus a better relationship means easier battle. (Battle mode is very simplistic, so this game's objective is mostly like a dating sim suited for girls)

Also comes with a built-in dictionary to explain the ancient terms used.

Not recommended if you do not read Japanese as it is quite text heavy.
