description

Jinbochou, Tokyo June 1922, Taisho Era
The Rainy Season

Tamamori came to Tokyo with his sights set on getting accepted to the Imperial University.

However, he doesn’t pass the entrance exam, and is so undisciplined and wrapped up in endless fantasies that he’s kicked out of his boarding house after only two years.

Through a stroke of luck, Tamamori begins to live and work at Umebachidou, a used book store.

There, he enjoys whiling away his time as a “student preparing for entrance exams” and taking advantage of friends who are also from his hometown.

But one right after the other, mysterious deaths befall those friends, and, realizing he’s been repeating the same rainy three days over and over again, Tamamori finds himself racing throughout Jinbochou to scoop them.

In this pop-occult mystery that surrounds the deaths of his friends…

What is real, and what is a hallucination?

I adore this game!
Bought it on a whim on Steam and fell absolutely in love with the game and story telling. Minikami and Kawase's routes lived rent free in my head that I ended up buying the game AGAIN, but on Nintendo switch this time for the extra ending stories. The game arrived in perfect condition and I can't wait to start playing this gem. I highly recommend it if your into BL content, or just enjoy a good love story.

Obsessed!!
I bought this game in 2021 and two years later, I'm STILL thinking about this game. I was obsessed with this game for years and even now I love it and recommend it every chance I can get. The story, the characters, the visuals, the music, and the voice-acting are all so beautiful and keep you immersed throughout the entire experience. I would say the only downside is that some routes are longer and better written than the others, but the longer routes are so good that it makes up for the shorter routes.

**I actually bought this game first on Steam and then bought it again on the Nintendo Switch solely because I loved it so much. The main difference is that the Nintendo Switch version cuts out the R18 scenes but, in exchange, provides short epilogues for each route that the Steam version didn't have. The Switch version is still completely playable, however, I honestly think those R18 scenes add a lot to the emotions and the plot so if you are fine with R18 scenes, I would definitely recommend the Steam version a lot more.

Tl;dr: I had a MAJOR hyperfixation on this game throughout 2021-2022 and I still consider this to be the best visual novel I have ever played. I highly recommend it!

Pretty pictures
I love the visual novel story and art. It all had me captivated, so if that is what your looking for this is for you.

Gameplay wise it's crud. Hours in, I hadn't come across one choice or branching pathway. After I completed the story, I was confused and checked online. You can only do branching paths after you follow the first path. for all paths. Meaning for all available paths to open, this loooong VN needs to be played at least 5x.

First route you can only play for Minakami. Next playthrough you can now either play for Minakami or Kawase. To open any further paths, you have to do Kawase. And since you played through already, the answer on how to find the next path is just do the opposite of whatever you did in the last path. If you're keeping track in this loooong story. Meaning you don't get any real freedom in how you play which is what I look for in VNs and the replayability is hard. On the 2nd playthrough it was still like 30 minutes of speed skipping before I came onto the first (and only available) choice

Amazing Game
A very vibrant visual novel (for those who are not accustomed to visual novels, they are stories with branching choices, voiced dialogues and pictures).

The music creates an eerie atmosphere. The whole experience is very immersive (you actually feel like you're living with the characters in 1920's Japan) and the characters are interesting and feel alive.
