One lean, mean, baldy assassin!
The Hitman series we're one of the most under rated games for the PS2.

If you just got yourself a PS2 and looking for some good FPS games, definitely check this out!

Silent clean fun
The freedom/the way you approach the assassination is still unmatched.

3 good games at an attractive price
This pack contains the most recent three Hitman games:

(a) Hitman Silent Assassin;
(b) Hitman: Contracts; and
(c) Hitman: Blood Money

You control the protagonist, Agent 47 in a series of challenging missions across the world in all three games. You may use either stealth (the hardest way to play the game as you'd have to consult the map and use all available means to secure the silent assassin rating to unlock certain bonuses) or you could opt to go in with guns blazing but you may end up killing other innocents and non-targets. You'd often be required to attain disguises to blend into a crowd or to get closer to the target.

In this pack, Hitman:Silent Assassin is rather dated but still holds up well in this age and time mainly because of its high difficulty level but the sensitivity meter is rather erratic and your cover could be blown without proper reason sometimes. You get to travel to Russia, Japan and Malaysia to hunt down your targets. Overall, it has not aged well even though the gameplay is fine.

Hitman: Contracts is more attractive in its graphics and has quite a fair bit of challenge in its missions - you'd be forced to hide weapons in food in order to sneak past guards, for example and you'd also need to time your plan-execution right or you could end up a step too slow. The game also has a decent storyline which will unfold in flashbacks after you complete each mission.

The final game in the pack is Hitman: Blood Money. This game revamps certain aspects of the older games, namely that you could take out your targets in apparent 'accidents' such as swapping a real WW1 gun with a prop one; place a bomb on a platform and watch as it crashes on your target below; or simply push people over fences to make it appear as an accident. Blood Money is more refined out of the three games as there are more ways to approach a mission. There is also a notoriety rating if you go into a mission all gung-ho as people in the next mission might recognize you if you didn't pay enough to clear your name in a previous carnage. You also have the option to upgrade your weapons as well as add some nice touches to your tools of trade, such as your binoculars or lockpick equipment to assist you in your job. The storyline, as always, is an interesting one.

You'd need quite a fair bit of memory space on your PS2 memory card if you want to make save games - Blood Money requires 2.2 to 2.5 MB worth of space per save game. The older games require less memory but it's still quite sizeable than other titles of its time.

Overall, this neat package bundles together the best of the Hitman series as you remember playing it. For an attractive price as well, this package is one of the best deals you can get. You also get a demo of the game Urban Chaos: Riot Response as a bonus on this package.
