As the first third party controller for the PS4 with touchpad capabilities, Hori doesn't just stop there; by adding a wide range of value added features to the new Horipad FPS Plus, what entails is a new way to play for gamers looking for that extra edge in precision and control.
Based on the original Horipad FPS, the FPS Plus retains the asymmetrical thumb stick placement similar to the Xbox configuration and comes in a sophisticated metallic finish. The sticks themselves apply a constant pressure feedback lending to precise aim and control, and to take this even further, there is a special target button that toggles with 3 levels of sensitivity on the back - for changing stick sensitivity on the fly - ideal for instant long range targeting.
There's even been change to how stick sensitivity reacts; the yaw, roll and pitch follow a gradual slope as opposed to a linear one, so movement is even smoother, and avoids all form of abrupt jerkiness whenever sensitivity is increased.
For the buttons themselves, a turbo feature can be turned on for the face buttons, d-pad buttons, and triggers; the Horipad FPS Plus also allows custom button mapping.
The FPS Plus is also compatible with the PlayStation 3, and comes wired with 3 meter length cable. The only caveat is that the light bar, motion sensor, rumble feature and headphone jack are missing, but for unparalleled and refined control, the Horipad FPS Plus does this in absolute spades.

great product would buy again soon
Was looking for a replacement for my DS3 after Sony stopped making them. This proved to be a more than adequate replacement. It's future proof as well as it supports PS4.
Sony bungled the battery life of the standard controller so much that I gave up and bought a wired one, and have to say that this is something to seriously considered.
-Long cord that shouldn't pose any problem unless you sit on the opposite end of a huge living room to your console.
-Extreme comfort to those with large hands. If you have massive meaty ogre mitts like I do it fits like a glove for comfort during long sessions.
-Turbo and assign buttons don't have to be there but are nonetheless available to those who wish to use them.
-Cheap price. With express delivery it still cost me less than an "official" controller would if I went to the store and bought one.
-No microphone jack. I hope you have a wireless headset because you're not saying a word without one.
-The L2 and R2 buttons are still analog but require unreasonable amounts of force to push down all the way.
-No vibration feature. It's not a deal breaker but it's still something that you will never not notice.
-The target button so prominently advertised doesn't actually do anything useful.
Because i like xbox controller more than PS4 this make me happy with its because its can use everythinf like xbox and have pad like PS4 but its not vibrate.
The Hori controller feels very comfortable in my hands and my fingers automatically find the triggers and buttons. In gameplay it is very responsive and the added turbo feature and redesigned thumbstick curves make this the best controller I've used yet for shooters and other games where precision is key.
