Item Description
Initial D: Special Stage is a racing game based on the hit anime Initial D and Sega Rosso's hit arcade racer Initial D: Arcade Stage. The PS2 version will feature a new Story Mode which differs from the arcade version. The story progresses by clearing the mission of each stage. There are a total of 11 courses, 31 playable vehicles and animated cartoon cutscenes throughout the game.

If you enjoyed the older arcade games, you will love this.
This is close port of version 2 arcade. Plays and feels the same. To keep it short and simple, if you enjoyed the older initial d arcade games you will have many hours of fun with this. Also nice is the story mode based on the manga, having you complete races with conditions imposed.

Worth buying.
If you like Initial D, you will like this game. It has everything that the arcade versions have, and even though the physics are different from V3 and V4 it's still an enjoyable game. The graphics may not be as great as other driving games, but you probably don't play Initial D for the graphics anyway. If you don't understand Japanese the menus might be difficult to navigate.

A great game
I just got mine last Thursday. It\'s a great game I should say, it has a fast learning curve, even though the Japanese language can set you off for a while. Thanks play-asia for the fast delvery!

Very good game. Plays just like V2. Although if u understand the arcade physics, or ur a good player in IDAS V2 OR V3... this game might be very easy to begin with. Some of the courses that aren\'t included in V2 or V3 will be a challenge... This game lasts very long...
