Cricket!
I'll admit i was sceptical when I bought International Cricket 2011. Disappointed by cricket games of the past decade I wholeheartedly believed this would be the same. I was wrong. At last we have the perspective of the batsman, the decision where to hit the ball or more precisely where to place the ball is fun but the real challenge is timing the ball, and boy when you plant it perfectly over the fence for six or smack a booming cover drive you will feel pleased at the noticeable improvements made to this game. Also bowling is more bearable due to improvements of swing control and spin control that let u dictate terms to the batsmen. The introduction of player confidence and skill points which u can spend on players is also welcome. What i didn't like was the lack of Test match tournaments, a campaign or tour of any sort. It really makes the game feel like something u pick up, play for a time and have no problems with dropping it because there really is no progress for the player. A good fun game that could have been spectacular!

Good for the cricket fan
This is probably the first decent cricket game on PS3. Definitely not something I'd recommend if you're not into cricket, but if you are a cricket fan it'll provide some longevity and is good without being great. Would still love to see cricket games reach the level of other sports like NBA and FIFA.

A good core expirience..
..but its presently the only Cricket game available on the PS3 hence choice isn't an option. Both bowling and cricket are great with the "Action Cam" and "Power Swing" features but the game feels a little rough and a few nit picky flaws (LBWs/Boundary shots) prevent this from being in the top echelon of sports games such as FIFA/MLB The Show. Nevertheless, if you are into Cricket this should be a day one purchase.
