description

Boasting enthusiastic popularity as a timeless masterpiece SF horror that shines brilliantly in movie history. "The Thing from Planet X" directed by John Carpenter, who has had a great influence on the whole world. Last year, it was released in theaters as a digital remaster for the first time in 36 years depicting the horrifying space creatures that appeared at the Antarctic base and the death battle of 12 members. A remake of "The Thing from Another World X" produced by the master Howard Hawks. The original is the SF thriller novel "Who Goes There" by John W. Campbell Jr. Speaking of director Carpenter, he co-wrote the music for five works with Alan Howarth. Since it was the first work that Director Carpenter himself was entrusted with a masterpiece of studio production, requested music from Italian film music master Ennio Morricone. Due to the schedule at that time, Morricone composed only a few scenes of the movie that was not completed yet. More than half of the songs weren't used in the film and were replaced by new electronic songs by director Carpenter and Alan Howarth. Morricone's imaginative songs have since increased cult fans. This soundtrack can be said to be a "horror opera" that was built by Morricone himself and compiled into 10 songs released by MCA at that time.

Respecting this composition, a complete restore from the first generation master stored in Universal Music, and remastered. Comes with a 16-page luxury booklet.
