The Game Lacks Challenge, But Great for Newbs
I find the controls of the game are too easy to master, unlike the PS2/PSP games. I didn't get a chance to play it more, but for someone that's been introduced to Toku, this game is perfect. I like how everything is in English and I do like the intro movie. I say get the game if you want an introduction to Kamen Rider, but if you're a diehard fan, I say skip it.

Really enjoying it.
We're big fans of the franchise, and this is the first Kamen Rider game we've played with English subtitles. It's great to experience the story while still keeping the original Japanese voices. The game is pure fun, can jump in and play any unlocked rider in the battle mode against other riders you can hand-pick or randomize. Lots of fun.

A Scramble of Potential, but fun nonetheless
Kamen Rider: Climax Scramble (or Climax Scramble Zi-O from the Menus) is the sequel to Climax Fighters on the PS4, and the second in the revitalized Climax Series. With a lengthy campaign mode and 32 playable characters spanning 20 years of Heisei goodness, what's not to love?

Sadly a bunch. The Campaign mode is dull and uninteresting and just a massive excuse to get these riders to fight eachother, which is fine if dialogue was grand and appropriate to the characters and their interactions, you could salvage this story mode if the interactions between characters is well written, but it sadly isn't. You need to play the Story Mode in order to unlock riders, so you're gonna go from fight to fight doing the exact same notions to unlock more and more riders, which is fine with small bursts, but trying to marathon though just breaks your spirit faster. I recommend doing the story mode in small increments if you find the combat boring.

Speaking of the combat, theres now a Joycon motion mode for the kids to play and a normal mode for players which I am still learning, mostly because their is no tutorial. You are just kinda thrown into the story mode to get the riders and the game doesn't teach you through the story.

Honestly it's just because the game has been boring to me, because it does not do much to push the envelope (Plus Smash Ultimate came on the same day so its fighting game fatigue), but nevertheless, when the dialogue was good, it was good and when I got to play as other riders, I can see they all had distinct moves and combos. I just need to learn the combat to understand the game, and I shouldnt judge a game as garbage if I cannot even play. Now if you excuse me, i'm going to go try and unlock Drive because Drive is the best rider.
Dont @ Me.
