An alienated 12-year-old boy befriends a mysterious young newcomer to his small New Mexico town, and he discovers an unconventional path to adulthood in Let Me In, a haunting and provocative thriller written and directed by filmmaker Matt Reeves (Cloverfield).

Twelve-year old Owen is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents. Achingly lonely, Owen spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex. His only friend is his new neighbor Abby (Chloe Moretz), an errily self-possessed young girl who lives next door with her silent father. A frail, troubled child about Owen's age, Abby emerges from her heavily curtained apartment only at night and always bare foot, seemingly immune to the bitter winter elements. Recognizing a fellow outcast, Owen opens up to her and before long, the two have formed a unique bond...

let me in review (weak remake)
ok this is a remake of the swedish masterpiece (LET THE RIGHT ONE IN) and its not even half as good as the original it realy rips off the scenes between the children and even though it copies the original the children in this are not even good compared to let the right one in and thats what the story is about not cheesy vampire effects.A REALLLY POINTLESS REMAKE OF A FILM THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN REMADE BUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE MORE MAINSTREAM ie.THEY COULD HAVE ACTUALLY SHOWED IT AT ALL CINEMA SCREENS INSTEAD OF A SELECT FEW
