Listen up! Gravity Daze 2, Monster Hunter, Nioh, Fire Emblem and Other Great Upcoming Soundtracks!

Genre: Video Game Soundtrack | Release Date: Feb 22, 2017

There are several incredible soundtracks by some of Japan’s most talented composers being released in the next two months. To not miss out any of your favorite tunes of the early gaming year, we give you a small overview of what you can be excited about!
Veteran composer Kohei Tanaka, who already composed the wonderful soundtrack of the first entry in the Gravity Rush/ Daze series, returned to pen an orchestral soundtrack for the sequel. And if you have already played the game, you know that his new compositions are as vibrant and energetic as before. The composer was also attached to the game’s animation adaptation that you can watch here.
The release date for this 4 CD box is February 22nd.

Already available and pending stock arrival is the soundtrack of Valkyria: Azure Revolution, that comes in a two disc edition. It was composed by famous JRPG maestro Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Shadow Hearts), performed by the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and some songs sung by Sarah Àlainn of Xenoblade Chronicles ending track fame. His soundtrack perfectly underscores this epic story of war, heroism and sacrifice. Definitely the highlight of January!

Also released in February will be the soundtrack to Nioh, composed by Yugo Kanno. He is best known for his massive work in TV, movies and anime, but also scored the game Rain in 2013. This one will be available from February 15.

One more release in February is the Fire Emblem Music Collection: Piano - Faith & Engagement. It contains 16 arrangements from throughout the series that were written and performed by up and coming pianist, composer, and arranger Keiko. If that is too vague a description for you, please try for yourself and listen to these excerpts! The CD will be released on February 22nd.

This box will be released on March 15th.
Earlier, on March the 1st to be precise, Fate/Grand Order Original Soundtrack I, a 3 disc compilation of Type-Moon’s popular smartphone game, sees the light of day. Composed by Keita Haga, this 3 disc release will be chock-full of music from the game. Release date is, as mentioned, March 1st.

Plus we finally got The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Original Soundtrack back in our system after it somehow glitched out last year. That sneaky Link, probably used the magic cape!
