description

The peaceful world of the LocoRoco are under attack by the not-so-nice Moja Corps! These evil outer space creatures have come to take the LocoRoco from their land of blowing flowers, lively creatures and pastel scenery. As the planet where the LocoRoco inhabit, you must move them through more than 40 levels of slippery slopes, teetering platforms and maze-like passages. The LocoRoco have the uncanny ability to fluidly "morph" to their landscape, so all you need is to tilt, roll and bounce the happy "blob-like" creatures to safety!

LocoRoco
The game\'s premise is simple: Take little squishy blobs named LocoRoco and put them in a world filled with flowers and everything happy. Then add a dash of sympathy with the Moja - evil black creatures trying to eat up LocoRoco and take over the world. Top it all off by having LocoRoco sing in such an adorable manner that your heart will melt.

This game is about all things sweet, cute and happy, from vivid worlds filled with weird-looking yet friendly creatures to eclectic, upbeat music. In the game, instead of controlling LocoRoco directly, you bounce and roll it around by tilting the world using the two shoulder button of the PSP. Think of LocoRoco as living dough, being able to merge and divide with the press of the O button.

Controls are intuitive and easy to pick up, yet difficult to master. You will find yourself stuck in some areas trying to catch the little buy floating in the corner, or bouncing around so that you can eat up a flower bud and get LocoRoco to multiply. The things you can collect on every world include flower buds, bugs and LocoRoco house parts. As you advance through 40 stages in five different worlds, LocoRoco meets friends - playable, different-colored versions of LocoRoco which sing different songs. Apart from collecting stuff in the game, joy comes from seeing the cute LocoRoco interact with its environment.

This game plays like a side-scrolling platformer, where you roll and bounce LocoRoco from start to end. Unfortunately, this may feel superficial and tedious once the monotony sets in. LocoRoco is the sweetest, happiest game this side of the portable world. Like all sweet things however, it is best consumed in moderation. Recommended for anyone feeling down and needing something to brighten up his or her day.
