Product Features

  • A Cataclysmic Whodunnit! - Not only will players have to keep their eyes focused on strategically defeating the enemies laying in wait on the field of combat, but they need to carefully watch party members' tendencies in order to expose the traitor. At the end of every floor, players will be forced to vote and eliminate one of their trusted allies, and the consequences for choosing incorrectly could be dire...
  • Spoiler-Free Zone - In addition to a variety of game mechanics to help assess teammate loyalty, Lost Dimension's traitor system is randomly determined, assuring that no two players will be faced with the same playthrough. Sorry, kiddies, but it’s impossible to look up the answers this time around
  • Psychic Warlords - Each character in the party is a master of a different sphere of powers. There's the girl who controls molecular behavior to burn or freeze anything/anyone in her path. There's the guy who can teleport all around (also with the bonus superpower of being satisfyingly cocky). And there's even someone with an identity crisis because all he knows how to do is steal everyone else's powers!
  • Keep Your Friends Close… - In between battles, players will have the option to chat with teammates and develop closer bonds with them. Juggling these friendships and keeping track of who participates in battle will be the key to sussing out the traitors and assuring that, by the time you reach The End, it won't be... the end... for you and your allies!

Item Description

From the development team alone, FuRyu's new title is looking to be a great RPG to look forward to!

Lost Dimension's team consists of the Japanese game studio Lancrese, who previously helped in the making of the first Etrian Odyssey and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, Yoshiaki Yamaguchi, the artist of Gravity Rush, and Jun Kumagai, writer of the successful Persona 3 movies. What's more, previews from Japanese game publications have made note that gameplay is highly reminiscent of Valkyria Chronicles and Sakura Wars!

Taking place in a post dystopian future not too far from the present, the game revolves around Sho Kasugai and his special ability called "Vision" - his powers of premonition are essential in saving people from mass destruction against a mysterious enemy known as "The End." Recognizing Sho's power, the UN forms a team named S.E.A.L.E.D. to track him down.

Without giving away too much, from what's been said about the story, the player can expect an exciting tale of tension, betrayal, and redemption. This coupled with the expectations from the dev team as well as some great 3rd person tactical strategy is something all fans of JRPGS can be excited about!

Solid recommendation
Strategy aspect is difficult enough, compelling characters and nice twists.
Since the traitors are randomized on each playthrough, there's also good replay value.

Good strategy game
Kind of game that force you to really think how to defeat your enemies, since one false move and all enemies will cooperate to kill your character without any mercy.

The "traitor system" is something well done, since ANY character can be a traitor, so you'll got to learn how to play with every character

A nice change of pace
I'm a fan of SRPG so I have play A LOT of those in the past. I have to say it's a refreshing one. Apart from the (engaging) story and the (compelling) traitor mechanics, the gameplay itself is very interesting. Each of your character has a special "Gift" that makes him/her unique, and the "Defer" feature (where you can allow one of your character to act again in the same turn) really adds a lot to your strategies. All in all, for the price, I really recommend it.

Really interesting twists
During the first hour of gameplay it is revealed that there is a traitor within the team of teenagers you control, however the fun thing is you knever know who the traitor is, because it is chosen randomly everytime. So supposedly you can uncover the traitors id if you pay very close attention to the diaglog between characters. Definitely very intriguing. Looks good on a PS TV.
