Great Game!!
This game is why I play video games. Nothing else really needs to be said but because there are people that sitll have not played this I'll enlighten them to the world of ME2. Imagine playing an open world game, or open galaxy game, where everything you do is reflected and reacted upon by the game's A.I. and chooses how you interact with characters, even how you get to play the game. Enter Mass Effect 1. NOW, Imagine everything, even the smallest things you hardly remember, have had an impact and shaped the world specifically to the choices you made, oh, and it's 2 years later. Enter, Mass Effect 2. It's engaging, fun, action packed, puzzling, and makes you think about what you're doing because you raelly have a sense of responsibility in this world because you actually feel like you're making an impact in it and around it. The story is second to none and I'm waiting for the movie rights to be sold and for there to be a movie within the next several years. Even in writing this review i'm tempted to pick the controller up and immerse myself in a world that I have truly built myself and have my own personal "star wars" adventure.

Improved as a Shooter but a downgrade as an RPG
When you compare this to ME1 you'll definitely notice the great improvement they made with the gameplay,it's more fast paced but well balanced than it's predecessor. But you'll also notice that the RPG aspect has been given a downgrade when you compare it to ME1.

The side missions felt really empty and hollow at times and some of them are just 2-3 minutes distraction from the main story. The redeeming quality is the slick Shooter experience and the great combination of humor and story this game brings.

Even with the RPG downgrade It's still a really fun game to play and some of the core RPG elements are still there.

Being a fan of BioWare for a while now,I felt they could have made a better RPG out of ME2.But if you like and is a fan of the first game then you'll definitely want to get this one too.
