Item Description

Stories tell of a legendary soldier who, with Metal Gear in his command, had once waged war against the world. His name Naked Snake, a.k.a. Big Boss. Now, in response to a world hungry for answers, the truth behind this legend will finally be told. The era is the 1970's. Big Boss had stationed his "Soldiers without Borders" in Columbia, South America, where he was approached by a visitor from Costa Rica "a Nation without a Military". In the wake of the Cuban Missile Crisis, as Latin America became a key to maintaining the power balace between East and West, Costa Rica had miraculously managed to maintain its peace and neutrality. However, in various regions of the country, a mysterious armed force seemed to be engaging in suspicious activities. Now, to preserve peace in this nation without a military, the "Soldiers without Borders" move into action. In time, they would come to be known as the founders of "Outer Heaven." Forge a new path and live the legend with "Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker", the first official "Hideo Kojima Game" on the PSP system!

A must for fans of the series!

If you love Metal Gear then you need to get this! It's just as good as Snake Eater on the PS2!

Finally!! a proper MGS game for the PSP!!

This is Metal Gear Solid the way it was meant to be. This PSP version is not watered down or simplified, in fact, it can hold its own, even when compared to the console versions.
Great Graphics, Great Story, Great Gameplay. A must for fans of the MGS series.

brilliant game

Fantastic game, really shows what the PSP can do. Peace walker is very polished, and what you'd expect from a MGS game. It's quite a challenging game too

Good but portable problems.

Great graphics and presentation but it still feels like a console game rather than a portable version. There needs to be more save points as the missions are too long. The controls are ok but the camera is not the best. It is also near impossible to finish the game unless you have a co-op partner.
