Japanese version
The Phantom Pain is the final Metal Gear Solid game. Like every other MGS title from the past, it has spectacular stealth gameplay, and a very enjoyable story.
It also offers many many hours of fun, since it's the first and only open world MGS game. It took me around 250 hours to platinum the game and it never felt tedious or boring.
The Mother Base feature is back from Portable Ops and Peace Walker, only this time is much easier to manage and almost completely automated.
The story itself isn't amazing like the first 3 MGS games, but still a lot better than Peace Walker. There is still one pretty shocking plot twist in the game that will blow your mind.
Overall, the game is excellent and I wish more games were that good nowadays. I recommend it to all stealth fans.
The extra contents of the Special edition are cool too, especially the artbook, although I don't think you should worry too much about getting it. The game itself is the real gem of the deal.
Finally, this version features Japanese audio and you can choose between Japanese or English subtitles. It's great for those who, like me, can't stand Sutherland's atrocious performance as Venom Snake.

Venom Edition
Very nice package overall; the art book has pretty amazing illustrations with very awesome presentation; the extra Blu-ray has a very nice cover and contains a lot of extras including the interesting "Phantom Episode"; the physical map is very useful too and contains some DLC that will make your life easier when playing the game.
In regards to the version of the game, it is pretty descent really for a last-gen port.
A very good item for collectors.

Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain PS3 Version Import
PS3 Japanese limited Japanese import, I am glad I pre-ordered it – it has some excellent artwork and Blu-ray with a brilliant documentary with keifer Sutherland and makers of the game. Glad I added this version to my collection as well the PS4 version too.
