Destruction

3rd strike
Motorstorm goes into the 3rd round and mixes things up a bit. Going from the jungle to the city, but it wouldn't be Motorstorm if there wasn't a twist! Turns out the city has been evacuated due to massive earthquakes devastating everything. Your job as a Motorstorm driver is to defy nature and get on your wheels to win races while everything around you either blows up or collapses.
The changes are definetly felt as the race tracks constantly change due to the earthquakes. You still get the old Motorstorm feel with a bit of Split/Second in there if you want. It's a recipe for chaos!
New features include story mode and some insane challenges. It still let's you experience the classic motorstorm feeling where you just pick races and get it on without any cutscenes.
Motorstorm 3 definetly tries to change the formula of the franchise a bit, for better or worse. It's a nice touch but it gets confusing due to the racetracks constantly changing. You'll be experiencing a lot of crashes you couldn't really prevent. Only patience will get you to the top.
Overall not a bad game, but if this is your first step into the Motorstorm world i'd suggest playing 1 and 2 before tackling 3 since it's not the best of the series.

Gorgeous!
An awesome series but this time the race focuses on crumbling earthquake metropolis with racing against each other finding a way out from this collapsing city. A truly fascinating graphic in particularly if you have a 3D supported HDTV, seeing the bridges and buildings collapsing in front of you as if you are inside the game play. The best of the 3 series, mush better and gorgeous in both game play and graphical aspects compared to its predecessors.
