Hey there Trainers! Nintendo recently released a new Nintendo Direct and with it more Pokemon news and info for the upcoming titles Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon! In it, we learned about what's going on in Alola, what the deal is with Solgeleo's & Lunala's new forms, and more! Let's go over that info after the video below!

Necrozma New forms: Dusk Mane & Dawn Wing
As we saw previously, the Ultra-Beast like Pokemon Necrozma will have an expanded role in these games. However, we're previous assumed that these new forms were for Solgeleo and Lunana, but in fact, it's the other way round. These forms are the result of Necrozma absorbing them! Dusk Mane form when it absorbs Solgeleo and Dawn Wing form for Lunala. It even gains their unique attacks, Solgeleo's Sunsteel Strike and Lunala's Moongeist Beam. What changes will this mean for its typing and stats we'll have to wait and see.

Dusk Form Lycanroc & Rock-type Z-Move Splintered Stormshards
You may have been aware that the rock-type Puppy Pokemon Rockruff will be getting a new evolved form in Dusk Form Lycanroc. This new form shares traits of
Lycanroc's Midday and Midnight forms learning moves like Accelerock and Counter. To get this form you'll need to purchase either game before January 10th, 2018 you'll be able to redeem the special in-game bonus. The gift Rockruff you get evolves into the new Dusk Form and will know certain moves depending on your version, Fire Fang for Ultra Sun and Thunder Fang for Ultra Moon. It'll also come with a Focus Band and the Move Happy Hour which doubles your prize money after battles.

But that's not all, there's a new Rock-type Z-Move called Splintered Stormshards. Any form of Lycanroc that knows the move Stone Edge can use this Z-Move when equipped with the special Z-Crystal Lycanium Z. Not only is the move powerful but it can remove terrain effects too.
