No solder Front Light for the Game Boy Advance™: HALO Light - the Afterburner competitor

If you are the proud owner of a Game Boy Advance™ handheld, are annoyed about the dark display but don't like to purchase a new GBA SP™ and think the Afterburner Kit is too difficult to install, then the HALO Light might be the ultimate solution for you:

The HALO Light helps you to enlight your Game Boy Advance™ screen without any soldering needs.

The HALO Set includes a lens remover tool, which helps you to remove the original GBA™ Lens, a new HALO replacement lens (with light foil built-in already) plus a power addon that will be plugged into the link port of the Game Boy Advance™ handheld. The power addon further features a built-in link port, light on/off button as well as a light regulator (dimmer).

The installation process is, compared to the Afterburner Kit, extremely easy and takes just around 3 minutes. A great alternative to the Afterburner Kit.

The HALO Light is now available to ship within 24h for a price of US$ 34.90 only.

Note: Play-Asia has tested the functionality of the HALO Light and can indeed confirm that the installation process is VERY easy and takes just a very few minutes (if not seconds). However there is one tricky part, which is to remove the protective film from the replacement lens part. This must be handled with a lot care and patience (don't pull it off too fast, otherwise your GBA™ screen will show dirty parts after the installation). Nevertheless it is indeed MUCH easier to handle than an Afterburner installation and worth a look for everyone with a Game Boy Advance™ unit.
