Each traveler can use a distinct Path Action, a specialized way of achieving objectives and interacting with people you encounter. The warrior can "challenge" people to a duel, whereas the dancer can "allure" others to follow her, even into battle! Enjoy the freedom to choose your own path while experiencing the story through the role you play. Combat revolves around the Boost system, a fusion of traditional turn-based battling and modern enhancements. Each turn, build up BP that can be spent to dramatically increase your strength or provide aid. Identifying when to Boost may just be the key to victory.

I was so so so excited to finally get this one! Everything from OT is improved upon, and the JP English version of the game is completely compatible w my US switch (I can even claim the gold points), plays in english (both dub and text - i don't use the dub, but it's nice to see it's there) just fine.

I enjoyed Octopath Traveler I, which is good - because Octopath Traveler II is pretty much more of the same. If you liked the first installment, you'll enjoy the sequel. If you've never played Octopath Traveler before, it doesn't matter which one you start with. The sequel is not directly related, story-wise, to the first installment in any way.

Another amazing HD2D RGP
Square does it again with another gorgeous HD2D game. Graphics are as flawless as the first entry in the series, and they have taken into account player feedback to make the eight protagonists' journey closely intertwined this time. Amazing!
