Welcome to Port Abello, one of the most important locations on the culinary map. As the town’s newest upcoming, chef you have a lot to prove.
After learning your trade in a local fast food joint, you decide to buy your own local diner. But being the proud owner of your own restaurant isn’t your only goal. The Fortified Chef Competition is about to visit town and winning it would launch you to the centre of the culinary stage.
On your journey you’ll become master of all types of fare until you own your a World Class eating establishment. With the Wiimote in hand, you’ll be taught every aspect of running a kitchen from burgers to chateaubriand using the Wii’s motion sensing technology to simulate cooking, with real kitchen tools like knives, wooden spoons, tongs, spatulas and more.

Fun game!
Frankly I didn't quite enjoy cooking mama and after reading such wonderful reviews for this game, I gave it a try and I find it enjoyable. I even got a chef's hat as well!

In this game, you are a chef working in 4 kind of restaurants (American, Mexican, Italian and French) as you've leveled up.
To play this game, you have to control wii remote to imitate real cooking action, such as grilling, chopping, frying. It takes you 2-4 steps to complete each dish. Rating of each step depend on timing and rating of your dishes depend on how well you have done overall steps. And if you cook fast, use right "spices" or meet each customer's preference, you'll get bonus.
What make this game more challenging than other wii cooking game is managing customers' orders. You can do more than one step at the same time, for example, while you're waiting for boiling soup, you can chop some vegetables...but beware not to overcooked your soup cause your kitchen will catch fire. which brings you to fire extinguishing mini game.
Still, It's disappointing this game is for 1 player only.
In conclusion, if you like some stylish freaking funny game, you should try this. And if you have played and been impressed in "Ore no ryouri" on Playstation, This game will bring quite like feeling to you...just not as heart pumping fast.
