Hidden Jem
Jade Valerie is undoubtedly a hidden jem to the western world. She has one of the best pop voices in the industry, writes her own (frequently beautiful) lyrics and music, and is just plain goregous!!!!
Yet for some reason, despite her albums being in the English lagngauge she has yet to release her music to western audiences!!!
Now I have that off my chest I can review this album!
Its is important to note that this is a mini album being only 8 tracks long however it definiatley leaves an impression!!! There isn't a bad song on it but there are a few songs that really stand out to me, in particular Goodbye. This album is quiet different to her Sweetbox work as the the music tends to have a heavy base line and a almost clubby feel to it. Also her lyrics are often quite raw and dark.
This album is a must for any Jade fan as it gives you the chance to see a whole new side of this talented artist!!!!!
