description

Colorful, witty, and addictively challenging, Phantom Brave brings exciting tactical RPG gameplay to Wii™, taking advantage of the system’s unique features to create an allnew experience that is fun for veterans of the original game and newcomers as well. Incredibly intricate, finely-balanced strategic gameplay compliments a fantastical tale of courage and duty. Already one of the highest reviewed strategy RPGs of all-time, this Wii remake is certain to win over a whole new host of fans! Bonus Content: The Digital Art Disc is a CD-ROM containing “Phantom Brave: We Meet Again” illustrations, sketches and 2D pixel art and is the ultimate collector’s item. The illustrations presented are used in the game as well as in other game-related specialty items. Character and background sketches are by artist Takehito Harada whose art has been featured in video games such as Disgaea, Phantom Brave, and Makai Kingdom. In-game 2D pixel art provided allows you to see all of the character animations.

Another RPG gem localised
There aren't many RPGs on Wii to begin with, so when one gets localised, it deserves the full attention of all Wii owners who are fans of the genre. Phantom Brave: We Meet Again is the definitive version of the PS2 classic, and still as good as the original, if not better. So good actually that it got a PSP release. Go for the PSP version if you absolutely want portability, but go to the Wii version instead if you like the comfort of your living room for playing strategy RPGs and/or would rather play on the big screen.

Underrated gem!
Basically a director's cut version of what is considered the black sheep of Nippon Ichi's Strategy RPG roster, but personally one of my favorites. Never released for us PAL gamers, so if you're lucky enough to own a US Wii then consider yourself lucky and play the damn game, mm-okay?
