The year is 2025. The Japanese government, in order to cope with the massive air pollution and endless economic loss of Tokyo, transfers the capital to "Neo Tokyo", a dome city built on the Tokyo Harbor. A few years later, abandoned "Old Tokyo" becomes the battleground for "Rumbling". In Rumbling, the contenders face each other while riding highly mobile armored land vehicles called "Scoobees", and receive fortune and fame by destroying others. It's now the year 2031, the Rumbling is the biggest hit the entertainment business ever had! Now is the time for YOU to join the Rumbling. To proclaim you are the master of the battle!

why not on ps2?
I have this game for xbox and I would have loved it to have been on ps2 - the levels aren\'t gigantic or anything, but the gameplay is outrageously good - it lacks a decent storyline, no wait, ANY story line, but that\'s okay - it can be a bit patchy in explaining where you are (some desert in tokyo) and that\'s about it - cool anime characters but no over voice - has potential that\'s been wasted due to what I think could only be rush - NEEDS ONLINE PLAYABILITY - the game tries to emulate online gameplay which turns out alright but they\'re not real people so yeah, you get my drift - still very cool and the only game I\'ve played from genki - two thumbs up :3
