description

Remember 11: The Age of Infinity takes players to a mountain area in the deepest winter of the year 2011. In the middle of snow and ice a small house is serving as a base camp for mountain climbers. Its ground floor has been transformed into a warehouse, while the second floor serves as a rest area. Since this small wooden building was not constructed as a residence, it does not feature any electric light, kitchen or bathroom. Only lanterns bring some light into its rooms. This last outpost is the main stage for Remember 11, which tells the story of four characters: 20-year old student CoCoro Fuyukawa, 23-year old office lady Lin Mayuzumi, 35-year old mountain climber Seiji Yomogi and 11-year old Uni Kusuda. All four are the survivors of a plane crash and seek shelter in the small building.

Did not live up to the hype
The infinity series has always had in-depth stories that leaves people hooked to the game for hours and hours. The previous title (Ever17), has been regarded by many gamers as one of the best games on the PS2.

However R11 does leave a lot to be desired. Overall the game had a great start and a decent story development through up until the end, where things just about to string together and make sense, but not long after that, gamers are presented with a shocking ending, or in other words unfinished. It\'s not saying that it\'s bad, maybe KID did want the gamers to figure out some of the story themselves, but it surely is unsatisfying for a finished product.

The LE version comes with a small R11 visual book and an audio CD that consists of an hour of freetalk between the 2 main character VAs. Koyasu Takehito(Satoru) and Morinaga Rika(Cocoro). It\'s quite an interesting talk about the various elements of the game, they do get on to some foolish things from time to time, but it\'s only there to entertain the listener and create harmony.

Endings aside, R11 is excellent. Even though it cannot be compared to the now legendary Ever17, but its still a solid experience with a twisting plot.
