對Zev（基斯杜化龐馬 飾）來說，記憶是迷霧的莊園，走進去卻出不來，深陷其中，一切都是這麼清楚、卻又模糊……
年屆九十的Zev由二戰時期猶太人滅絕屠殺倖存下來，即使現在飽受阿茲海默症折磨，令記憶嚴重衰退，但接近滅族的陰影卻揮之不去。本來已經在安老院頤養天 年，但院友Max（馬田蘭杜 飾）一日卻交給Zev一個重大的秘密 ─ 當年在大屠殺中殺掉Zev一家人的納粹黨員，已利用其他身份定居美國。隨著記憶逐漸衰退，Zev的復仇之心卻油然而生，循著Max寫下的指示，Zev帶着 手槍穿越美加各省，孤身踏上復仇之路，誓要找出名叫Rudy Kolander的男人。他能在斑駁的記憶完全消失之前，為家人雪恨，伸張遲來的正義嗎？而最後所發現的真相，他能承受嗎？

Remember is the contemporary story of Zev, (Academy Award Winner Christopher Plummer), who discovers that the Nazi guard who murdered his family some 70 years ago is living in America under an assumed identity. Despite the obvious challenges, Zev sets out on a mission to find the guilty man and deliver long-delayed justice with his own trembling hand. What follows is a remarkable cross-continent road-trip with surprising consequences.
