Reveal News: Need For Speed Payback

Need for Speed: Payback
PlayStation 4™/ Xbox™One/ PC | exp. ship on 10 November 2017 Pre-order available Now!

Before the E3 2017, Electronic Arts already revealed Need for Speed Payback with a single campaign trailer. The story about three characters, Tyler a street racer, Mac a drift racer and Jess a professional race driver. Although they have different driving styles to handle diversity missions, they have the same enemy to revenge with the organization called ‘The House’. During the trailer, Payback will add the offline single campaign, such as rob sports car on the moving truck, deliver packages and even VIP passengers, it was pretty much shadow some of the movie series.

During the game, vehicles separated into five different classes, Race - this is players most often drive in street race,  balanced setting for cornering and acceleration and the best for time trial, Off-Road since Payback is the open world ‘action’ game, players allow to get off the road with shortcut by these monsters, Drag vehicles just focus on the straight line, players only need to worry about shifting and nitrous, Drift player can enjoy enter corners by sideways and the engine roaring, Runner this class is special for escape mission as EA described, cars outlook may also affect the mission result.

On 26 July, EA published the latest trailer about customization and confirmed under-glow will be back. In the new generation, players allow modifying the car movement style while driving around the world, instead back to garage again and again. In NFS 2015, we tried to change the cars behaves by turning suspension, camber, brake pressure and different tires. We believe EA will keep all those setting and improve it by adding extra turning sliders and more details in the turning menu, which saves a lot of time for players. Payback might come with an in-game currency system since the deluxe edition has included 5 shipments items, we believe it should be the currency allows players to draw the Unique or Perks items for customizing their vehicles.
