New sequels of Ridge Racer are great. The introduction of drifting and nitrous makes the game more fun and enjoyable than the previous Ridge Racers. The game is not a driving simulator but more on arcade racing. Fast and stable graphics but the nitrous animation is less impressive than Ridge Racer 6. Some nice high beat tunes accompany you all the way. Engine roars and tyres burning effects are great. Difficulty is quite challenging on the later stages. Practice more and you should get to enjoy the game and drift like a pro.

Highly Recommended
Can't believe this game has come so far. You want breakneck speeds? You want insane drifting? Then this is a definite buy for any PS3 owner. And with the 3D patch which you can purchase from PSN, it just makes it even better if you have a 3D compatible TV. If you feel the AI is no match for you, bring it online and take on the world.

Great frame rate leads to a fast sense of speed. Team based online racing modes are innovative. Car customization & slip streaming add new depth to the game.
Too bad most of the tracks appeared on Ridge Racer 6.
