"I own this town." But owning is getting expensive for old-school London gangster Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson). A wealthier foreign mob is moving in with a riverfront property swindle. Great film
Don't listen to all those 'snobbish', arty reviews-cockney stereotypes, gangsters etc etc, this is a brilliant film! Entertaining and funny, take it for what it is a damn good English down -to -earth film. There are some fantastic actors in this film and my family and I watch it over and over again and each time we see/hear something new and clever.
