description

The Rise of Morastrum--an event where the dark star blocks out the sun--threatens the very existence of our world. All born in that year are doomed to perish before its end.

However, during the first Rise of Morastrum 600 years ago, a sole child did survive. He came to be known as the Archfiend, leading the world to ruins.

Another 300 years passed, and again a child defied fate. She came to be known as the Matriarch, defeating the evil and bringing peace back to the world.

Now, 300 years later, the Rise of Morastrum strikes again, and the fate of the world hangs in the balance.
Will there be another child of destiny? Will the child be righteous, evil, or another force that the world cannot fathom?

Enjoyable game
If you're a fan of older turned-based RPGs then you've doing yourself a disservice by not checking this one out.

A classic, finally in English!!
I've waited 26 years for an English version of Romancing Saga 3, ever since I played a rom of the Japanese Super Famicom version. While there have been fan translations of that for a while, this is the first official release of this game anywhere but Japan and I am glad its this version. The graphics have been polished up nicely and the widescreen looks really good on an HDTV. The game itself is pure SaGa magic, meaning that it doesn't hold your hand and the game is very nonlinear by nature. All can ask for at this rate is a similar style release for Bahamut Lagoon and Live A Live.

HIGHLY replayable
If you've ever played a saga game before you know what you're in... if not? let me break it for you.

You're in for multi hundred hours jrpg where there is a ton ( like a metric ton!) of side content to do, and also each time you change your main character at the start of a new game... you get a different experience...

So buckle on, don't let the old graphics repulse you, this is one of the hidden gems of the N. switch.

Ps: be warned that the game don't hold your hand ... at all!

Fun game / replayable
Overall fun game, slightly different from the run of the mill jrpg gameplay formula.
Looks like with the game+ option and different recruit-able characters multiple playthroughs would likely be fun.
Another great JRPG addition for the Switch.
