Good Visual Novel
Root Film is a stylish, engaging visual novel for fans of the genre and fans of mysteries. The game has a charming atmosphere that makes you want to visit the Shimane prefecture, this game is a worthy successor to Root Letter

My Root
The plot of Root Film, the characters of the characters and their interaction are commendable. I would like to say the same about the original Japanese voice acting (an English text translation is available), which allows you to appreciate the very lively and organic performance of the actors.
Combined, all these components make the story of the game fun, and 15-20 hours of playthrough (depending on your reading speed) leaves the most pleasant experience.
This is a traditional visual novel with simple gameplay, but nice art, interesting characters, as well as a quality atmosphere and a great storyline.

Good game!
For a 16bit isnpired game this game does a good job to build an atmosphere, even though it never reached the point of instilling fear, it certainly make you feel uneasy at time.
