Rumble in the Bronx - DVDs/VCDs
Despite having no subtitles, if you ask a friend what the Cantonese dialogue is about, you will be fine and 70% of dialogue is English. HK version broadcasts more footage than the New Line has completely synch sound (no dubbing folks!). Although, it\'s strange when Danny talks to Keung in English where as Keung replies in Cantonese.

New Line adds on the escape from the nightclub scene.

Bad sides of this disc: No menus, no chapters, no subtitles, no option to choose Cantonese or Mandarin, \'input time\' feature does not work. For those not familiar with the film or may get confused with Cantonese dialogue, may want to give this title a miss.

Warner VCD is said to contain English subs and is original synch but NOT the DVD however. Speedy VCD is slightly cut, distorted and is still dubbed at certain points during English dialogue and although this is better and makes more sense, it is distracting but has English/Chinese/Malaysian subtitles. It has credits however during the drive through New York and at the end of the film but no Golden Harvest logo.

If you can manage (I bought this a few days before Play Asia announced it to be OOP/out of stock so lucky me!

There are two versions! the Chinastar-Thakral (Hong Kong) and Thakral-Chinastar (China). Thakral-Chinastar is said to contain a slightly better image with no minor pixilation.

ONE OF JACKIE\'S BEST EVER
THIS MOVIE IS ALL ACTION. YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELEIVE ON HOW HE WAS TRANING ON THE WOODEN DUMMY. I WILL RATE IT 1OO/10. THE GANG HIDEOUT IS THE BEST SCENE IN IT AND JACKIE REALLY DID A GOOD JOB WITH THAT. I WILL RECOMMMEND IT TO ANY ACTION/ MARTIAL ARTS FAN.
