they call it dark souls 2d game,i bought because came with a map,poster and soundtrack download

The Dark souls of 2D games
This game is fantastic, it has a dark & gritty setting & a good story. it has the traditional Metroidvania style gameplay, the controls are intuitive & this game is hard but rewarding.
The Drowned time edition has some nice extras too.

Cool game
Different kind of platformer/action game.
i like the graphics and the game mechanisms, you like action platformers i recommend this game.

A dark shining gem among Switch games
This game truly shines for its gameplay! It mixes old school Castlevania and Metroid with stilish graphic and a true identity on its own.
This is what I want from Nintendo Switch and from indie games.
This is not a 2D version of Dark Souls! You can't say that only because is dark graphic tones and because you die all your possessions will be left where you died. In my experience, Dark Souls games are a bit on the punitive side. Salt and Sactuary is more like old school fertile "trial and error". Anyhow definetely not suitable for casual gamers.

Difficult but rewarding
People said this game is the 2D version of Dark Souls and I found that it is quite true. It has a nice little story but what it shines is the gameplay. Controls are fluent and responsive. The graphic is interesting and cool. It is a bit difficult but not to a torturing level.
Drowned Tome edition includes nice extra stuff and I am happy with them.
