Sammo Hung is back in The Bodyguard!

The Bodyguard

You probably know Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan or Jet Li, so chances are you may also recognize Sammo Hung, a chubby yet flexible actor starring in over 75 Hong Kong action movies from the 80s. He is known as an actor, martial artist, film producer, choreographer and director and comes from the same opera school as Jackie Chan.

Since his hair started turning gray, our big bro Hung has taken a step back and prefers supporting roles, for example in Ip Man 2, Rise of the Legend and The Last Tycoon. But now, alongside Andy Lau and his old mates from Seven Little Fortunes, Hung has made a major comeback as lead actor and director of The bodyguard.

The Story follows a retired, lonely bodyguard (Sammo Hung) suffering from early dementia. He comes to befriend a young girl whose life is threatened by the local crime lord, forcing him to recall his long forgotten skills in order to rescue her and her father (Andy Lau) from the Russian mob. You mess with grandpa Hung, he will hunt you down like a Liam Neeson!

Marvel at a 64 year old's joint-lock and Tai-chi fighting moves in our new release The Bodyguard.
