A (sadly) uniques take on Bomberman
While most people can probably only recall the abominable Act Zero when they think of departures from Bomberman's otherwise unvarying gameplay, many years before the X-Box based disaster Hudson went further in gameplay, if less far in aesthetics, with Saturn Bomberman: Fight. It's surprising how few changes are needed to shake up the Bomberman series so thoroughly, but chief amongst them is the use of the isometric perspective in order to open up the 3rd additional dimension. It gives Bomberman a fresh breath of life that was unfortunately has not yet been followed up on to this day.

Saturn Bomberman Fight
As retro-fan this game is one of my favorite games of all time. Especially the multiplayer-mode makes a lot of fun.
