PlayStation®4 PlayStation®3 PlayStation®Vita [Simulation RPG] Release: September 24, 2015 [JPN]

Aquaplus' latest sequel in their visual novel/simulation RPG franchise Utawarerumono will be coming to PlayStation consoles this September! On top of that awesome news we can also expect an anime to be released in October, with the third Utawarerumono game already in production!

Utawarerumono is very much a visual novel at heart, and as such it is safe to assume that there will be a fair amount of text to enjoy, but the turn-based strategy RPG battle system is a large part of what makes the game such a unique, and popular, hybrid.

Assuming consistency in the sequel the battle system should make use of the classic grid, with players moving their group of heroes through the map with different goals depending on their objective. During each turn players can choose to have the character move, attack, or cast magic.

Utawarerumono: Istuwari no Kamen has a story that might sound familiar to many of you, could the shared introduction with the previous title hold secrets to the story?

When I came to, I was standing somewhere in the wilderness where the snow was falling.

I don’t know why I’m in a place like this.

Rather, my memory… I can’t remember what kind of person I am, or even my name.

I stood still, shocked at the situation.

But, as if to ridicule me, a giant bug-like “monster” suddenly attacked.

I was cornered as I desperately tried to escape. I was in an extremely dangerous situation.

But then a girl gallantly appeared.

Her name was Kuon, and this beautiful girl with animal-like ears and a tail, saved my life.

PlayStation®4 PlayStation®3 [2D Fighting] Release: September, 2015 [JPN]

Romance of the Three Kingdoms has been one of the most popular and endearing stories worldwide, with a reach into popular culture in many regions of the world. Stories of righteousness, heroics, loyalty, and deception, this grand historical Chinese saga has sparked the imagination of many.

It's not surprise then, that Koihime Muso exists; originally a visual novel, Koihime Muso is the Rule 63 version which takes  all the famous male characters from Romance Of The Three Kingdoms and reappropriates them into an all girl cast. With this fusion of a famous opus with sharp anime art, one can imagine how popular this spinoff has become.

From Sega, in 2011, an arcade game later ported to the PS3 was created called Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Taisen Sangokushi Engi; introducing a unique fatal counter system, the popularity of it's all girl cast and quick pace action justified the creation of a follow-up: Koihime Enbu. While out in the arcades already, gamers will be able to play this on the PS4 and PS3 as soon as September, 2015.

While a few details have been revealed in this first trailer, the biggest difference from the arcade to home port are the console exclusive character additions of Ma Chao (Bachou Mouki), Le/Yue Jin (Gakushin Bunken), and Zhou Tai (Shutai Yohei); these three are in addition to the full cast totalling for 20 fighters to choose from!

The Limited Edition will come with a Koihime Enbu OST Soundtrack, and more details about this slick looking fighter can be found on the official Koihime Enbu PS4/PS3 website.

PlayStation®Vita [Dungeon RPG] RELEASE: September 25, 2015 [JPN]

Genkai Tokki Moero Crystal, a "panty-wearing, bra-seeking" dungeon RPG will be released this year by Compile Heart as a follow-up of to the previous Moero title Moero Chronicle. The producer of this installment is Norihisa Kochiwa, known for his famous Neptunia series. Compared with "seeking for panties" mission in Moero Chronicle, this time, players will have to "search for bras" in order to heal the world.

The story starts with the appearance of the "Dimensional Chasm" in the skies when the "Bra of Everlasting Darkness" and the "Panties of Hope" were stolen. The world is on the edge of falling into the rift... it is up to Zennox, a handsome lecher known as the walking pervert who encounters 'lucky accidents' whenever around pretty girls, to rescue the world by retrieving all sorts of stolen bras.

Besides the 50 extremely beautiful monster girls in Moero Chronicle, this time, 30 new cute girls will be introduced in this installment. Newly revealed characters include Guardian Luanna and Shrine Madien Lulucie; they both have distinctive personalities - Luanna seems like pretty fastidious when it comes to the 'topic' between man and woman; and Lulucie has the charming power to be easily trusted by others. As well, it seems like each monster girl's ending will also been seen in this title.

With a new command called "Insert", this time, gamers will experience a whole new "build up, release, and insert" battle system. Besides, players are also be able to rebuke two monster girls with the new designed Double Scratch System.

Genkai Tokki Moero Crystal [Limited Edition] is also scheduled to be released alongside its regular edition; while for now, the contents included in the set have not been announced yet, keep tuned for details!

One more thing, for those who has not watched the first trailer before, you'd better check it out right now as it is really a "live-action" teaser~

PlayStation®Vita [Action RPG] Release: September 30, 2015 [JPN]

Tokyo Xanadu is an upcoming action-RPG being released by Falcom that primarily follows two 17 year old students from Morimiya High School, along with their classmates. When Kou Tokisaka stumbles upon Asuka Hiiragi fighting mysterious creatures known as 'Greed' he is thrown into a whole new world filled with action and danger.

Greed are creatures that wander complex labyrinths in the 'Other World,' coming in a variety of types, shapes, and sizes. Normal weapons from the real world are ineffective against them; only Soul Devices made from spirit particles that can hurt them. Entering the Other World is made possible by Eclipses, or special gates between the two worlds that can only be seen by 'The Qualified.'

Each character fights differently as they each use different Soul Devices which effect both attack speed and range. The most basic attacks used are Standard Attacks which are up close and personal, with well-timed button presses enabling players to pull off attack chains. Each character also has three different types of special Skills at their disposal - shooting, aerial, and power abilities. Shooting being long distance, aerial being mid-air, and power being charged up attacks.

Players can customize their Soul Devices from the settings screen, where you can modify each device using the items and raw materials picked up throughout their journey. You will be able to set your main weapon attribute, as well as learn new abilities and strengthen existing ones.
