Characters from 2 famous Japanese video game developers get together in one gigantic PlayStation2™ title: Namco x Capcom.

Developed by Monolith Soft studios, Namco x Capcom features a total of more than 200 characters originating from game series published by both software studios, such as Street Fighters, Darkstalkers, Ghouls n' Ghosts, Strider, Dino Crisis 4, Resident Evil Dead Aim (for Capcom side) and Xenosaga, Soul Calibur, Valkyrie Dentetsu, Tales of Eternia, Tekken, Wonder Momo, Bravoman and Klonoa (for Namco side).

The strategic RPG style game features 3D maps and an animated intro sequence done by Production IG., the anime studio behind such masterpieces like Ghost in the Shell, the Tales series anime and more.

The battle system is turn based, you can use the character's special attacks, as well as super moves and dual attacks (for specific characters only, such as Dimitri and Morrigan). Easy action sequences have been implemented in the form of cut-ins. The two main characters of the game are Reiji Arisu and Shao Mu.

Namco x Capcom is in stock today shipping as Asian release version priced at US$ 59.90 only. The Japanese release version is due within the next few days. The Namco x Capcom Original Soundtrack double disc album - published by Suleputter - is on preorder, due to ship on June 29th at US$ 23.90 respectively.

After various multi platform releases, Bandai's popular Gundam series finally arrives on Nintendo DS™. SD Gundam G Generation DS features over 230 characters from 20 anime series such as MSV and Seed. Taking advantage of the dual screen, the game uses the top screen for battle and field scenes and the bottom touch pannel for maps and status display.

Several new features not present in the GBA™ version of the game have now been implemented, such as additional attacks and power boost if the characters' compatible rate is higher. Further you can now perform an ultimate all team attack, which consumes every character's SP for a powerful all to one attack.

The battles itself are turn based, each unit consists of 2 or 3 characters and up to 3 characters can battle at once. SD Gundam G Generation DS includes more stages compared to previous ports.

Bandai's SD Gundam G Generation DS is in stock today shipping at US$ 59.90.
