From the publisher: In Okami, the legendary monster Orochi has come back to life and turned the world into a wasteland. To restore the earth’s natural order and beauty, players assume the role of wolf-embodied sun god Amaterasu and participate in numerous action packed battles against the ominous beings they encounter. However, conquering these impending enemies is no small feat. Amaterasu will travel through different regions of the world to regain her "Celestial Brush" powers, all the while revitalizing everything in her path. Using an innovative control scheme, gamers can slash away at enemies, use various brush strokes to solve puzzles, create pathways, chop down trees or turn night into day. The real-time fighting system not only involves assorted brush techniques, but also myriad of specials attacks typically not associated with the physical prowess of a normal wolf.

Featuring a visually stunning art style, Okami comes alive through beautiful scenic 3D levelsthat have the appearance and texture of paper scrolls brushed with watercolor-like calligraphy art. Throughout the vibrant and distinctive surroundings, players must also interact with a dynamic cast of characters, building their faith to uncover clues andhints. The blend of stylized graphics and unique gameplay will result in a rich and dynamic experience never seen before.

Spectral vs. Generation breaks from the series' RPG gaming style, and steps boldly into the 2D fighting genre. Since the arcade version was released, it has been the topic for discussion for fans of the series. Who will be the final victor in this ultimate battle of the Neverland continent?

The game combines the main characters from Idea Factory's two big series, "Spectral Force" and "Chaos of Generation", skillfully weaved into a plausible storyline. Slug it out in a life-and-death battle in the form of 2D fighting in the Neverland continent. The theme this time is "limitless acceleration" and "power release", and so you can enjoy full excitement from extremely fast battles, as well thrills of super special moves. Well received since the arcade version was released, this production, ported to the console is a new challenge!

Idea Factory's Spectral vs. Generation for PlayStation2™ is in stock today at US$ 64.90 only.

The Mother of all Video Games returns with an all new Gameboy Advance™ RPG sequel to the 2003 released compilation Mother 1+2. Mother 1 was originally released back in 1989 in Japan for Famicom™. Mother 2 (also known as Earthbound in the USA) was released in 1994 on Super Famicom™, while Mother 3 was originally announced for Nintendo 64™ but never completed.

Mother 3 is a classical Role Playing Game (RPG). There's a story, enemies, and when you defeat your enemy you will level up and get stronger. A surprising number of elements not found in previous Mother games have been incorporated into Mother 3, including several chapters Mother 3 is divided into. In one chapter, sparks are flying for some reason, while there's a monkey in all sorts of locations in another chapter and much more.

Nintendo's Mother 3 for Gameboy Advance™ is in stock today, available at US$ 48.90. Also still available is Mother 1+2, as budget Value Selection reprint at US$ 29.90 only. Also make sure to check out the Mother 1 + 2 Original Soundtrack, in stock at US$ 23.90 only.

Unfortunately we were short shipped the Mother 3 Deluxe Box (w/ Gameboy Micro Limited Edition), so that only around 10% of early placed preorders will be dispatched today. We are hoping for more supply to come in later this week to fill further preorders. An update will follow in a couple of days.

Check out Starmen.net for additional Mother 3 coverage, including a translation of Nintendo's official site.
