Cool to own
This is for collectors of the series as this is the first SC on PS3 gen and the last we'll see of most characters, therefore it is a must have.

Good graphics worse game
Updated graphics, however, less than what PS3 is capable.
Game modes aren't the best in Series, characters could be more balanced and the weapon weight/speed have not the same feeling than SC3

1st impression
Another great addition to the Soulcalibur series. With some new and interesting characters thrown in with some old favourites. Being able to use Darth Vader from those Star Wars movies in the PS3 version was great. Also, the gameplay was just as good as the first 3 games in the Soulcalibur series.

SCIV
After a bit longer than expected delivery SCiv finally arrived. Since it was the Japanese version it was more expensive than other regions, not sure why this is?
Anyway, I have not got around to opening it yet, but I am sure everything is in order. I like Playasia alot, they are an exellent source of asian interest in general. Thanks again.

Great Game
Soul Calibur is a new classic. Easy to play. Beginners use to love this game. Sometimes just smashing the buttons is enough to win a match (in normal game mode) and some people get ungry with that (it's not like some old fighting games that you have to practice for several hours in order to make a special move).
I started playing soul calibur in its first apperance for the Sega Dreamcast.
If you played other versions of the game, you will feel a graphic upgrade, very little variations in gameplay a a downgrade in the history, endings, etc...
The PS3 version has Darth Vader, which is so fun to play with.
Bottomline: It's a great gam,e to play with friends!
