They are incredibly long, unbelievably crowded (you are often squeezed into the car by friendly guys with white gloves) and even better, every station (at least on the most important lines), has its own departing melody. These melodies are composed by highly known artists and especially at rush hours the noise level in big stations is simply crazy.
This Gashapon features the melodies of seven stations of Japan's most known trains, Tokyo's "Yamanote" and Osaka's "Osaka Loop Line".

this is a fun little keychain, the song it plays for the one i got is about 4-5 seconds long and plays with fairly well clarity and is pleasant sounding. not very harsh to the ears.
unfortunately i thought it played more than one song, but its just one per item, so if you want them all make sure you order quite a few.
