  • Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions gives gamers four unique universes to explore, each featuring authentic and unique art styles, from the classic pen-and-ink-styled Amazing Spider-Man to the moody, 1930s cinema-influenced Noir
  • Players harness new gameplay mechanics through each costume of Spider-Man: The web-slinging, aerial Amazing Spider-Man delivers sweeping blows and powerful kicks in a world that pays tribute to the classic era of our legendary Super Hero, while the mysterious and stealthy Spider-Man Noir prefers to lurk in the shadows of a 1930s-influenced cinematic environment before unleashing his perilous strength
  • For the first time, Spider-Man can deliver damage up close and personal via a first-person perspective during key moments of battle. Boss-themed levels with new environments, music and pacing, along with a vast new cast of ferocious villains, will engage gamers in a fast-paced action-adventure. Players will take on the world’s greatest hunter Kraven in the Amazing universe and, in the service of Norman Osborn (aka “The Goblin), Hammerhead and his henchmen in the gritty Noir universe
  • Beyond the four vastly different worlds to explore, players will uncover surprises around every corner, including new abilities and multiple costumes and bonuses to unlock

Item Description

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions is a thrilling action-packed adventure set in four dramatically different universes from legendary Spider-Man lore, each with a distinct Spider-Man armed with unique skills and strengths, in one original storyline. Players will be transported to new locations never before seen in a Spider-Man game, from lush jungles and dusty deserts to various urban terrains. Acclaimed comic book writer Dan Slott takes players on a mission to contain the magical energy of the Tablet of Order and Chaos, which has been shattered and sent hurtling across parallel universes, and battle fan-favorite villains in a quest to restore the fabric of reality.

4 different Spider-men ...
One goal! Cheesy Spider story! Great for fans of Spider-Man - Amazing, Ultimate, Noir and 2099 - controls may be a bit hard to get into to begin with, but once you get into the amazing web slinging action you have no choice but to see how each chapter turns out.

It's Jack Black. It's Heavy Metal. It's gore brutallity with a cartoon look to it. Buy it.

Lessons learned, lessons forgotten
Surely this is the most diversificated Spider-Man game so far. Shattered Dimensions has learned the lessons from the previous games, implemented some rights, and avoided some wrongs. Unfortunetely, not every lesson learned on the previous games has been usede by this new SM adventure. You've got in this game all the fun from the Ultimate Spider-Man Game, by instance, but without the sandbox gameplay (off course that was intentional, this new game is a straight forward adventure). You've got the multiple finghiting possibilities (air, ground) in the 2099 dimension, like in Web of Shadows, but you can't fight in the walls, wich is a bit disappointing. But hey, there's a new first person fighting feature in this game (all dimensions) that can be really. And, off course, you've got four unique spider-men to play with. Now to the lessons forgotten: Noir dimension is poor, repetitive, with uninteresting stealth missions, totally anticlimax compared to the other dimensions (specially the super-fast 2009 one). You can't mix combos from differents dimensions, like you could in WOS by switching suits at one button click. Actually, the alternate suits (four for each dimensions) are neat, but they don't add anything to the combos. That could be different, it would be interesting to mix some combos from other dimensions (as a reward for beating the game, maybe?). Also, there are no buddy system, wich it's disappointing considering that almost every SM fan around would like to see the different spideys fighting side-by-side on some levels. In WOS, you could call guys like Luke Cage and Wolverine to help you out (pretty cool, huh). And finally, the storyline sucks. Really. There's no story, actually. Just some sorry excuse about the tablet of order and chaos to get the game going on different dimensions. Again, comparing to the excellent storytelling in WOS, that was a lesson forgotten. Anyway, this is a very good game for spider-fans, way better than the Spider-Man movies games or the horrible Friend or Foe. But, let's be clear on this, any game following Web of Shadows should be awsome, not just good. PS: The Deadpool level on Ultimate Dimension is hilarious, be sure to play that one.
