Play-Asia.com says:

Studio Ghibli's most popular film has received universal praise, and it's no shock why. Spirited Away is a landmark for all Japanese Animations.
--- Chihiro and her family are moving into another town. Taking what he thinks is a shortcut, Chihiro's Father Stumbles upon what appears to be an abandoned Theme Park. Taking a look around Chihiro's parents are attracted to the smell of an unattended buffet of food. Chihiro, thinking all this is wrong, urges her parents to go back to the car and leave this place. Her parents have begun feasting on the unattended food and cannot pull themselves away, so she takes a look around and bumps into a boy named Haku. Haku tells her to escape as quickly as possible as night is falling, but it's too late. The spirits have returned to their holiday location and her parents have been turned into pigs. Chihiro must now survive in this fantasy land full of mythical creatures and gods. Haku gives her a job at the bath house and she is introduced to her employer Yubaba. Yubaba is a witch who steals people’s names and makes them work for her forever. Chihiro, now called Sen, works in the bath house and must find a way to escape and save her parents. --- SPIRITED AWAY is one of those instant classics that fully immerses you in a world so real (even though it’s animated) you lose yourself in the story. This is probably Studio Ghibli’s greatest animated film or at least it’s their most popular. Most of you should already know of SPIRITED AWAY as it was released outside Japan with a pretty good dub by Disney and made a rather successful run in the cinema’s of almost every country it was released in. SPIRITED AWAY is on of those films that have had so much time and energy put into it so it can be the greatest film it can be and that it’s so incredibly hard to find a single fault in it. Everything about this film should astound you, the visuals are amazing and the audio is even better. Everything is just such quality and all the effort put into it pays off incredibly. First off, before I get too carried away in the praise, let me elaborate on its visuals and music. Its animation and art style is some of the greatest I’ve ever seen. The monster and god designs are unique and incredible. The animation is fluent and is as realistic as a cartoon can get, you know the animation is gonna be good when the producer makes the animators pry open a dogs mouth over and over to get it looking right (scene for the dragon). Music is one of those aspects that can turn a pretty-good film into an incredible film, and in this case the music takes an already incredible film one step further with amazing and emotive orchestrated music. The music is used perfectly in every scene and swallows you into this whole new world that is foreign and magical. The story is a classic about surviving on your own in a new environment while making friends and having new responsibilities. The characters develop nicely and their personalities never fluctuate from who they are. Character development is one of the central aspects of the film and you can really see the way Chihiro slowly changes through the movie. Chihiro is such a sweet girl and the audience connects with her on many levels to care for her wellbeing. In the end you get an amazing cinematic experience which will leave its mark on you (as I’m writing this I really want to go watch it one more time). You will find yourself wanting to go back time and time again, and if you go a long time with-out watching this you will soon be getting the urge for another viewing (like me). While this is an incredible movie, it must be said that it may not be for everyone’s tastes, generally everyone I know who have seen it and may not particularly like watching animated movies enjoyed this one, but there may be some who wont. You cannot ask for a better animated experiance for all ages!
Spirited Away is a master piece. A truly inspiring and involving movie about a young girl trap in a strange new world where she must adapt in order to survive.

Spirited Away is an incredibly captivating experiance filled with amazing visuals that will take your breath away. It sucks you in with its visual and audio prowess and never lets you go. After viewing this your head will be in the clouds for a long time afterwards. Spirited Away is a highly original animation to come out of all the stereotypical overly childish children animes like Totoro and the run-of-the-mill teenage sci-fi anroid animes, and truly bring you something enjoyable for all ages and tastes. Despite being bought by the evil company hell bent on world domination which is Disney.

I cannot recomend another anime as highly as this, its enjoyable for all tastes and deserves alot more credit than it i givin (it gets alot).
