Much better than standard attached joycons
If you're looking for a reliable 3rd party alternative to attached joycons, this is it. They're quite comfortable and are made out of quality material. If you thought the original Split Pad controllers were too large, these are much smaller and still provide a far superior grip to the joycons. I did run into some issues with the joystick misbehaving and not registering inputs in certain directions, but they cleared up when I removed and reattached the controller. Note the lack of rumble, NFC, or gyro if you intended to use any of those features. It also has buttons on the rear that you can map to function as any other button if you enjoy those sorts of things, and a turbo function as well. Notably, you can map the rear button to something on the front and set the rear button to be a turbo while the front button stays standard, in case you don't want turbo all the time.
Overall, this is a pretty fantastic controller, and is my go-to for undocked play. If you play undocked a lot, or specifically avoid it because of the joycons, give this controller serious consideration.

Very glad this finally got a soundtrack release
Surprised they did this after it's been so many years since the game released but happy nonetheless.

The game itself was disappointing but the soundtrack delivered, this is some of the best music in the series.

These have made me use my Switch a lot more
I never liked the joycons. I have already gotten my money's worth out of this and played through 2 long RPGs on the system because it's just so much more comfortable and responsive.

Be warned, it does not support gyro or rumble, which admittedly is a bit disappointing. For me personally and the games I wanted to use this for, it's not an issue, but I can see how this would be a dealbreaker for some.
