Item Description

The movie starts of with Lu (6 Wing), a huge comic fan, pitching a story to a publisher. In the story, no one is supposed to be killed but people end up dead anyway. The comic revolves around an insurance agent (Kay Tse) who has arranged to have reunion hot pot dinner with her younger sister (Stephanie Cheng) and her husband (C Kwan). Her own husband (Andy Hui) stumbles in late from womanizing, resulting in a major tragedy.

Mr. Cheng (MC Jin), the chief editor, is not impressed with the pitch. Lu is so disappointed. When he witnesses someone throwing acid from a building in Mongkok, Lu calls the police immediately and gets the attention of a young female student, Fang (Chrissie Chow).

That night, Lu attend his classmate Ling Ling's wedding. He greets a groom (Terrene SiuFay) and his bride (Bonnie Xian) before heading to the mahjong table. The other 3 players happen to be ex-es of the newly weds. The hired photographer for the wedding (C Kwan) is an avid mahjong fan. Instead of going around to take photos, he ends up giving advice to the different players as he moves around the table. This gets Liu Bao real mad and they end up in a fight.

Lu runs out of the room and about to leave. She sees ling Ling greeting her guests. He then realizes to the wrong wedding reception earlier. Just at this moment, Mr. Chen from the publishing company calls to inform Lu that the boss's elder brother (Louis Fan) wants to meet up with him at a karaoke to hear his pitch for the comic story. When he gets to the karaoke, the place is filled with burly men with tatoos. He sees a female mafia (Maggie Siu) setteling scores with her culprits...

Lu's story is so unreal, so does his reality...
