Definitely a good splurge
Puffy is living proof that Japanese girly rock has staying power.

Ami and Yumi have been singing for 10 years now, but amazingly, they still managed to sound so fresh and perky. Celebrating their 10th anniversary, they have released Splurge, a sparkling Japanese-English collection of retro and modern rock numbers backed by excellent instrumentation.

Light and boisterous, it is instantly infectious and you cannot help but bob your head along as they croon \"Tokyo I\'m on my way...\".

The Puffy duo have shifted their base to the US in recent years, but they never fail to remind one of their Japanese roots also seen in the opening English track, Radio Tokyo. Their English diction has improved over the years, and their pitch-perfect opening for Security Blanket could have fooled anyone.

But whether they are singing in foreign or mother tongue, they exude that same bubbly charm that has kept fans captivated for the past decade.
