  • A complete graphical update brings a Nintendo classic into the era of portable 3D fun. The game makes effective use of the Nintendo 3DS system’s dual screens: The top screen features 3D aerial combat, while the bottom screen displays characters and dialogue
  • There are two control methods for the player to experience. The Nintendo 64 Mode offers original controls, while the new Nintendo 3DS Mode uses the motion controls of the built-in Gyro Sensor of the Nintendo 3DS system
  • Trusted wingmen Peppy, Slippy and Falco are along for the ride – if one of them is chased or captured by an enemy, players must act to protect them in order to keep their team strong
  • Each mission takes players through a different planet of the Lylat system as they blast enemies, collect power-ups and fight powerful bosses on their way to the final battle
  • A new multiplayer option lets up to four players engage in fierce aerial combat via a local wireless connection (using four systems and one game card via DS Download Play). The multiplayer mode also includes new power-ups and special weapons. Players can use the Nintendo 3DS system’s inner camera to display a live video feed of their faces as they battle, bringing a new level of fun and personalization to the multiplayer experience

Star Fox 64™ 3D invites players to take on the role of legendary Fox McCloud as they lead a fearless squadron of fighters in fierce aerial combat to battle the evil forces of Andross and save the galaxy from destruction. The rich 3D visuals provide a remarkable sense of depth, distance and position as players dodge meteors and blast enemy fighters out of the sky.

Classic to go please...
This star fox 64 at full force a very well made remake. 3D is awsome controls are smooth a great classic can't go wrong with that. The only miss with this game is there's no online play but still worth owing.

Tight controls, eyeball melting graphics. This is Starfox 64, cranked all the way to 11. My only gripe is that there's no internet play. How I would love to have dogfights (foxfights?) with other Starfox fans from around the world!

One of the best action titles for 3ds currently available.

Great remake!
The Good: Graphics and sound are far more realistic, reasonable to learn controls, the same funny quotes have been returned, second Staff Credits with dramatical music (and a dancing Andross), clean 3D effect.
The Bad: Training Mode is required before entering the Main Game for the first time, Nintendo 3DS Mode is hard to control, region locked multiplayer, no online, wait…yet another N64 remake?!

Great classic revisted!
Star Fox 64 was one of my favorite N64 games, now I can play the old classic with upgraded graphics and 3D display. Luckily in this game, they kept the old N64 character designs (but cleaned them up) and do not use the Star Fox DS graphics.

I am not used to the Japanese voice acting, but I think it is funny to hear Falco say, "FOXXXSSHHHEEEHHH!!!". The music sounds like a series of midi conversions, but, they still sound good. The planets look FANTASTIC!!! I love how ZONESS really comes to life with th 3D on. It's dark, it's raining, the water looks real, it is just amazing! The same can be said about SOLAR stage.

If you have never played Star Fox 64 yet, pick this game up while you can! Get the N64 version if you want to use the rumble pack though.

I hear this game has ONLINE multiplayer, but I haven't actually found it. It seems to be just local play via 3DS wireless function. But, you can finally play battle mode VS computer players and have more than just 2 stages to play on. I never use the camera on the 3DS, but you can take a picture of yourself and have it appear next to your arwing on other players' screens.
