Anakin wins a thrilling Podrace and with it his freedom as he leaves his home to be trained as a Jedi. When the sinister Sith unveil a thousand-year-old plot to rule the galaxy, the Republic crumbles and from its ashes rises the evil Galactic Empire. Jedi hero Anakin Skywalker is seduced by the dark side of the Force to become the Emperor's new apprentice--Darth Vader. The Jedi are decimated, as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Yoda are forced into hiding. The only hope for the galaxy are Anakin's own offspring.Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (1977, Run. Time: 125 Mins)Nineteen years after the formation of the Empire, Luke Skywalker is thrust into the struggle of the Rebel Alliance when he meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived for years in seclusion on the desert planet of Tatooine. Star Wars The Complete Saga
My rating is purely based on the quality of the Films and the packaging. Whatever grievances you may have for all the changes George Lucas did on the Original Trilogy is another matter.

And while I still lament the poor decisions of George Lucas in the many alterations he did, there is absolutely no doubt about the picture and sound quality of these films are very good. Star Wars has never looked or sounded as good than they do now in Blu-Ray. Moreover, it contains 3 extra discs dedicated to special features (behind the scenes, making of, deleted scenes etc.)

My only complaint is that this repackaged version is a little too simple. It no longer has the additional booklets that the original complete saga had and the intricate casing of each of the movies.

But other than that, this is a solid purchase for anyone who needs a Star Wars Fix until episode VII releases on Blu-Ray

the one i got here has a nice blue tray holding each disc rather than the one i saw in youtube where, i think they were like cartons that had over half the disc covered (i was aghast because those could scratch the discs). the youtube ones have had to have a hard time taking out or putting in the discs :)
the bonus discs: some of the spoofs or documentaries does not have english subtitles, and i found it has French subtitle option instead (which is rather weird).
otherwise, as a fan, this is the best quality movie i can ever have, although ten yrs on, i wouldn't say so :)
