Summing up 2012: Come see if there is anything you've missed in the past 365 days! - in Weekly Games Update!

Welcome to this week's Games Update, our weekly summary featuring new product arrivals from the last seven days. This is another lethargic week in terms of game, the first torrent of new releases will start next week, so let's take a moment to see some of the great games from 2012 that left a mark.

There were lots of great stuff last year, let's start with those that are explosively popular. One Piece have become something of an icon in the anime/manga world, it's no wonder that Kaizoku Musou turns into a boom. Since the voyage is endless, the crew is going to start Kaizoku Musou 2 this March. And if you want to step into their battle boots and go on their adventures, Romance Dawn is the game for you.

Another super popular game of 2012 is Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen OG on the PlayStation3. Dai-2-Ji Super Robot Taisen Z Saiseihen for the PSP is another game that no mecha fan can miss. The newest episode in the series, Super Robot Taisen UX will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS gamers, so watch out for that too. Gundam Extreme VS is available as a Best-Price version, and pilots must also look for their fate in Gundam Seed Battle Destiny.

2012 simply doesn't lack phenomenal music, Hatsune Miku's Project Diva F is one of the games people purchase a PS Vita for, and she's jump out of the screen to meet her fans in Project Mirai on the Nintendo 3DS. This year, she is going to power up Project Diva F for the PlayStation3, just like what the K-ON! girls did for Houkago Live!! Besides J-pop, you might like to hear K-pop songs, the DJMAX series is moving from the Sony PSP to the PS Vita in Technika Tune, and it's coming as a US version very very soon!

Monsters big and small are running rampant, Monster Hunter 3G is one of the Nintendo 3DS's best games, the HD Edition demonstrates all the great things about the Nintendo Wii U, and the newest Monster Hunter 4 will be coming in the summer. The Pokemon are smaller, but the storm they whipped up can't be overlooked, after releasing White 2 and Black 2, they set off to the Nintendo 3DS in Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. Digimon returns to its origin in Re:Digitize and the newest Digimon Adventure will becoming next week!

There are lots of nostalgia as well. Ryu ga Gotoku, Silent Hill, God of War Saga and Zone of Enders all gathered their classics to compile into HD Editions. Kingdom Hearts is coming out as a 1.5 Remix HD Collection this March, so ready yourselves for this one too. Tales of games that were released on the Nintendo DS are revived on the PS Vita as Re-imagined versions, Tales of Innocence R is a 2012 hit, and Tales of Hearts R is coming this March too.

Some classic series are released as Hybrid Disc versions, Macross Ai Oboeteimasuka is one of them, and their 30th anniversary tribute Ginga o Tsunagu Utagoe will come this February. The .hack series combined their movie with a fighting game .hack Versus in Sekai no Mukou ni, while Rinne no Lagrange and Eureka Seven AO bundle their OVA episodes with their shooters.

Some very quirky games have been released and they might have slipped past your radar. Shoot pheromone into a girl's heart in Gal Gun, strip vampires of their clothes in Akiba's Trip Plus, ask girls with holy powers to have children with you, then take your children to take down the big bad guys in Conception and learn the dance steps with the girls in Love Tore. Dream Club opened its doors in Complete Edipyon, and the Zero Special Edipyon is coming next week.
