Lost Song will include a completely original story which will primarily involve the exploration of "Svart Alfheim", a new area of ALfheim Online comprised of a series of floating continents close to the World Tree. The game will skip past the Fairy Dance arc.
For the first time in the series, players will be able to play as characters other than Kirito. However, it has yet to be decided whether players will be able to create their own custom characters or not. Parties of up to three characters may be formed, up from two in the prior games. In keeping with being set in ALfheim Online, players will be able to fly as well as walk on the ground. However, walking within dungeons will be mandatory. Auto-attacks will be disabled while in flight mode, but players may instead target individual parts of an enemy's body as they see fit. In addition, this game will add the ability to use magic to attack enemies or to provide support to one's party. The game will be the first in the series to allow for four-person online multiplayer.
There will be approximately 20 main characters in this game.

The game is amazing, great graphics and it's fun
In comparison to Hollow Fragment, the game have everything water downed. Story is all happy, fights are more slasher type (no tactic is required), there's a much less equipment, there's no skills tree etc. It's not bad game, it can and will give you some fun, if you didn't play HF first. But, if you did, and you liked it, then LS's simplicity won't make you to happy.
Always wanted to play it on the Vita but never got around to it, and since it came to the PS4 anyway so might as well just get the PS4 version.
Game play is very different from Hollow Fragment (or Re:Hollow Fragment, depending on which console you are coming from). It's much closer to the action RPG side than RPG compared to HF, plus some Ace Combat in the mix haha.
Prolonged aerial combat can get a little disorienting though, going upside down and stuff.
The game main game itself is not very long, considering that it was a port from a portable so that was ok.
The graphics are cool but the gameplay is really weird (especially since I have the recent SAO game and comparing the two, there is a bit of a difference)
But the biggest downer is the English subtitles.... Nowhere near the Japanese voices in the game and it's really just weird.
Well.... Who had play the SAO hollow fragment on ps vita should play this game too. The new game play and with interesting story game play. Overall it is a great game on its own unique way.
